Our Story

Sundance Boxers is located in Northern Utah, and with views of the Rocky Mountains, it is a beautiful place to live and raise boxers.

Welcome to our Web-Site. We hope you will enjoy your visit.

We are Ron and Rick. I,(Ron) was introduced to my first boxer in 2003 when I stumbled upon the website of R & G Boxers and clicked on show prospects, and there she was the most beautiful boxer, Kaila, R & G’s Believe in Magic bred by Joe and Ginger Bice of - Desert Boxers. Took one look and that’s all it took, and as you can see from our website she was a beautiful puppy. Kaila is our foundation, and although we were not able to finish her, we had the opportunity to breed her to CH Duba Dae's Buster Brown, “Gunner”, the 2004 National ABC 9-12 Fawn Dog Class winner from a large entry.   He was also a member of the Stud Dog Winning trio that year. This proved to be a winner of a breeding for us that produced our first homebred Champion Desert N Sundance’s Summertime “Summer”, who lives the life of luxury with our good friends Joe and Ginger Bice of Desert Boxers.  Our “Katee”, Sundance’s Little Miss Sunshine is now  a Champion which makes three Champions for Sundance Boxers, in two years. So you may be asking, wait you just said Summer was your first and Katee second, how do you get three? Well that’s where Rick’s story comes to life.

Rick was introduced to his first boxer in 2006 when our rgood friends Lynn and Janene Janson from Duba-Dae-Boxers introduced him to “Brodie” Duba-Dae’s Country Thunder  and that’s all it took he just had to come home to Sundance Boxers. “Brodie” is a litter mate to MBIS. MBISS. AM / Can Ch. Duba-Dae’s  Who’s Your Daddy “Bosco”. Brodie at six months of age went Reserve Winners and took Grand Sweeps at our Farmington show in 2006. He then took a break from the show ring, but at his first show out after his break, on 9/11/2009 he said it was time, and he went Reserve, and then Winners Dog for a 3pt major at the show inFarmington Utah. He wasShown to perfection by Julie Higgins, and Brodie was then entrusted to team Steele. Kimberlee-Steele Gamero, Gary Steele and Michelle Steele who showed Brodie to perfection and finished him in just a little over two months.

We would like to thank Joe and Ginger Bice for their friendship, they have been our mentors, and have been with us every step of the way. A special thanks to Lynn and Janene Janson for the wonderful breeding, and for entrusting us with Brodie.

We would also like to thank theSteele’s, Kimberly Steele Gamareo, Gary Steele, and Michelle Steele, they have been amazing and have finished not one but three Champions for us. Thank you Kim, Gary and Michelle.

We would like to congratulate Lynn and Janine Jansson of Duba Dae Boxers. Gunner, Brodie's sire, and Katie and Summers, grand sire is now SOM. Also, Brodies litter mate Bosco is now MBIS. MBISS.Am / Can Ch. Duba-Dae's Who's Your Daddy.

We are happy to be members of the Boxer Club of Salt Lake.
